When I was a kid, I used to go through my dad's dresser drawer and look at his old expired drivers licenses. Staring at those old pictures of him, I felt like I was getting a look behind the curtain. Unlike my father, I didn't have the forethought or, more likely, pack-ratish impulses to save anything like that for my future kids to find. So instead, I created this blog as a digital time capsule. Now when I tell my kids that I used to be a idiot just like them, there won't be any debate.
